About Competition Plumbing & Rooter Service

Founded on core principles of trade integrity and dependability, Competition Plumbing & Rooter Service was built to provide San Diego homeowners and commercial properties with honest, high-caliber plumbing craftsmanship. Based in the heart of San Diego at 3150 K Street, owner Dennis Barnett launched the business to counter the high-pressure sales tactics and inflated pricing common among regional corporate franchises, delivering personalized service where the owner stands behind every job.

With more than 27 years in the field, Competition Plumbing brings deep mechanical knowledge to every project—from clearing stubborn root intrusions and routing intricate drain lines to high-efficiency tankless water heater conversions and whole-home filtration systems. Our team operates on C.O.R.E. Values: Commitment to quality, Open communication, Respectful technicians, and Exceptional, long-lasting results. Whether performing rough-in insulation to final fixture trim on a remodel or responding to an emergency flood, we treat your property with meticulous care.

Across San Diego, El Cajon, Santee, and the South Bay, Competition Plumbing has earned lasting client loyalty by being punctual, straightforward, and clean. We communicate directly with property owners, explain diagnoses clearly without technical jargon, and never recommend unnecessary repairs. Our goal is to be the trusted local plumber you can confidently call anytime disaster strikes or upgrades are needed.
